The Rundown: Mom to Zack, Wife of Bryan. Student of Theater, British History, and Food, Wine & Culture. Lover of the arts, with barely any talent of my own. Ex-pastry chef and caterer. A sense of humor that can run from high wit to fart jokes. You're looking a little thin, dear. Let me fix you something to eat. Burlesque trumps stripping, always. Liberal, but sensible. Spiritual, but not religious. Would smooch on Jack Black if ever given the chance. When seeing punk teenagers on the street, I want to run up to them, pinch their cheeks and tell them how fun it was to dress up like that twenty years ago. Terrified of snails and ice skates; if snails could ice skate, I would DIE OF FRIGHT. I realize that I'm going to be a Soccer Mom very soon, and I just gotta live with that turn of events. I love animals--I think they're delicious. After being (not-so-surprisingly) laid-off in April, I quickly found another position in the business I was in long, long ago: architectural glass. I'm now an assistant to a very busy CEO, and so far, I'm pretty happy with it. Asked Santa for a Prius, but didn't get it--maybe next year. Consistent with my inconsistency. Occasionally whiny. Terrible about commenting in other's journals, even though I read my friend's list every day.
